  1. El Rito LibraryEl Rito — $5,500
    This program lets the children of El Rito attend hands-on classes in retablo art, book making, watercolor art, music appreciation and song writing.
  2. Child Rite, Inc.Taos — $4,000
    Child Rite is the only private non-profit adoption agency in New Mexico that works exclusively with children with special needs. This will fund a family retreat for adoptive parents and their children.
  3. Luciente, Inc.Abiquiu — $5,000
    This after school tutoring and mentoring program helps elementary students with their homework and teaches older students job responsibility and improves their abilities to communicate and mentor.
  4. Zona del SolSanta Fe — $3,000
    This grant will fund an after school program for about 100 students that provides a safe and creative venue offering bilingual monitoring and various art and science learning opportunities.
  5. Art in the SchoolAlbuquerque — $4,000
    Through the Art of Architecture: From Tut to the Extra-terrestial program, an 8 page teaching guide “Treasurers of the Egyptian Pyramids” will be developed and published, as well as, workshops and lectures.
  6. Canones Early Childhood CenterCanones — $5,000
    This after school program provides quality child development services to about 50 young students in the Canones community.
  7. Tri County Children’s AdvocatesTaos — $4,000
    The Sexual Abuse Program provides advocacy and therapy services to non-offending family members dealing with issues of child sexual abuse.
  8. NM Suicide Intervention ProjectSanta Fe — $5,000
    Recognition – Treatment – Hope is a coordinated set of approaches for preventing youth suicide and suicidal behaviors in the Santa Fe area.
  9. Luciente, Inc.Espanola — $4,500
    This Art to Boost Curriculum (ABC!) program now expands to the Espanola area and brings applied and performing arts that enhance curriculum development and student learning.
  10. Otero and Lincoln County CASAAlamogordo — $4,000
    This grant will fund the Supervised Visit and Exchange program and will provide for a safe place for supervised visits between abused children and parents.
  11. Camp CorazonesSanta Fe — $3,000
    Camp Corazones is a four day summer camp (free of charge) for children from ages 5 to 12 that are affected by HIV/AIDS. This camp provides support, dialogue, family bonding and peer connections.
  12. Working ClassroomAlbuquerque — $3,000
    Working Classroom provides economically and culturally accessible art experiences to low income middle school students through art and acting workshops, tutoring and GED/ACT/SAT preparation.
  13. Santa Fe Teen Arts CenterSanta Fe — $3,000
